Last Saturday, Karen Brown offered a free talk titled "Navigating Groundlessness" hosted by Dr. Shanté Smalls. The recording is now available to access for free.
Each day in this crisis we wake up to a new set of conditions, most of them confusing or frightening in some way. We have no chance to orient and adjust to the rapid fire changes leaving us on unfamiliar ground. Join me for an hour of body based practices that help to restore orientation, ground and presence in this time of shifting sands. Embodied practices have the potential to bring us home to ourselves from states of fear, panic, depression, anxiety, despair and confusion. These are simple, practical mindfulness based skills that can be shared with your family and friends, in person or virtually.
Join live or watch later. When you register for a talk, you’ll receive:
+ A link to view the event live
+ Access to view the archived video after the live event concludes
