Reclaiming Delight

Delight is our birthright – our connection to the sacred within and around us. In this gathering, let us explore our experience of delight and reclaim our capacity to bring this essence into our lives as an expression of our wholeness and dignity.

Laurie Amodeo has been a student and practitioner of Yoga and Buddhism since 2005, studying in Zen, Shambhala and Vajrayana (Tibetan Buddhist) traditions. She facilitates embodied practices as a meditation guide and yoga teacher. She is of Haitian ancestry and is the co-founder of the BIPOC Meditation Collective, an engaged contemplative community for Black, Indigenous and People of Color. In her creative practice, Laurie is a singer-lyricist, sound shaper, writer, dancer, botanical artist and student of Sogetsu Ikebana.
