January 22nd, 2020: Leslie Booker
As we begin this new decade, many of us are exploring this moment through the lens of the Greek God Janus, the God of beginnings and transitions.
We are looking back and taking note of the causes and conditions of the past year that have brought us to the current state of our lives, and making resolutions to figure out a new way.
And for many of us, this annual tradition of letting go and renunciation can quickly turn into rigid asceticism; completely void of joy.
In this offering, we'll explore renunciation as a counter culture practice of releasing instead of hoarding; an embodied practice of intuition and tenderness, and a pathway to liberation and freedom.
The cost for this talk is $10 for the General Public and $20 for Patrons who wish to pay-it-forward. We ask that Groups and Meditation Centers to please pay within the $40-$60 range.

She is committed to working with folks to find a sense of freedom and liberation, in a world that is held captive by greed, hatred and delusion.
