Love can be a ground for profound ethics and deep engagement. Coupled with compassion, love can help us to see a broader world beyond our immediate reference points. Gyendon will guide a practice of love from two perspectives: loving oneself and loving others, and explore an experience of love that opens possibilities for how we navigate our lives.
Lodro Gyendon is a Buddhist monk living at Gampo Abbey in Pleasant Bay, NS. Gyendon has trained and studied in monastic settings under the guidance of Thubten Chodron at Sravasti Abbey beginning in 2012, and since 2014, with Pema Chodron at Gampo Abbey.
If you can't join us live, this talk will be recorded and released on the Weekly Dharma Gathering platform within 48 hours.
